Good Room, nice restaurant and food , excellent ambience
Had a wonderful stay at Layalee Grande Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was polite and helpful, and the location was very convenient, especially for visiting the Chennai Trade Centre and nearby metro station. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, the service exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chennai and would be happy to stay here again.
’’’’’ (1/5)Very disappointing experience. We booked a **Deluxe Room**, but there were **lots of cockroaches** in the bathroom and inside the wardrobe. After we complained to the manager, they changed our room, but they gave us a **smaller room**. Unfortunately, that room also had cockroaches and was very noisy.The biggest issue was that there was **no hot water**, and the **laundry service was not available**, even though it was listed as one of the hotel amenities while booking. Several other promised services were also not working.After facing all these problems, we complained at the reception. The staff started speaking in Malayalam and discussed us in front of everyone, saying something like, **"We shouldn't give rooms to these kind of people."** This was extremely rude, disrespectful, and unacceptable. We even have a **video recording** of this incident.This hotel is **not worth the money**. Instead of paying so much for this place, you can easily find a decent hotel outside for **’500’’1,000** with clean rooms, hot water, better hospitality, and respectful staff.I would **never recommend** this hotel to anyone. It is **not worth even ’500**. The rooms were dirty, the promised facilities were unavailable, and the staff behaved very unprofessionally.**Please don't waste your money by staying here.**
