This was not a serviced apartment, it was a regular hotel room, with a water kettle. When booking please be aware of it. Even after Agoda staff mediated, hotel did not provide even cutlery or simple cooking utensils.. If you want just a regular hotel room, it is a good place.

What shown of the building in Agoda was totally not the same. Car had to squeeze into its alley to enter front entrance. Curboards were broken and dust remained in most of the shelving. Paid for a King Bed and given single beds. And ww were told they have ran out of rooms and bed was wet due to aircon dripping. Claimed it was condensation and will not happen again. Towels were not prepared. Everything had to be requested. WiFi password was requested at counter was told at the room it will be connected. However, it kept Prompting for password. Call again reception and then it was provided. At 11 pm a guest was shouting the head off at the reception. On how much was paid and the type of service provided. So, I believe all the guest had the same sentiments. Paid too high and given a low standard and low quality. Not Premium or Luxury as stated and shown in pictures. Totally deceived. Being an early morning flight endured the fate and accepted the accommodation for few hours.

I was visiting Chennai from the USA for 10 days and needed a decent place near Ashok Nagar to stay with family, with close access to restaurants, T.Nagar shopping, etc. in a decent area. Websites showed a few, but they were pricey or not appealing until I saw Lance 21. My brother, who lives in Ashok Nagar, also visited the place and highly recommended it, so I booked two rooms at a nominal price. It's the best decision I've made. When I went to Lance, the check-in was quick, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were ready, very clean, spacious, quiet, and smelled fresh. The room and facilities were comparable to those of any 4-star hotel in Chennai that charges Rs. 10,000/night. The Bed was very comfy, and after a 24-hour flight, I had the best sleep. The bathroom was very clean, with all amenities. good-sized wardrobes and lockers, and the staff would bring almost anything you ask - ironing tables, hair dryers, etc. Best of all, the rooms were free of mosquitoes and cockroaches, which was important for my children who never want to visit India for that reason. The breakfast was hot and plenty to eat - idly, dosa, pongal, vada, poha, and wheat or vermicelli upma - all cooked in the facility. There was also a good choice of restaurants within walking distance - Geetham, Manoj Bhavan, etc. More importantly, the entire building had security cameras - so my family felt very secure living there, not worrying about any theft or other activities. Finally, we found a home for all my future trips to Chennai. Next time, I am going to try the 2-bedroom apartment. I hope they will continue to keep it clean, secure and comfortable. Only 1 room key is given, which will turn on the lights. So if two stay in the room, need to plan when one leaves the room.
