Come here for exhibition every 6 months. Clean rooms. Clean Bathrooms. Near to RK convention center. Breakfast is good, can do better by rotating menu.
The hotel itself was decent enough, but apparently the management thought it would be a great idea to put guests directly below an active construction site. The drilling, banging and constant noise completely ruined my stay and gave me a headache.To their credit, the staff eventually agreed to change my room. The catch? I had paid for a larger room and was moved into a significantly smaller one. So essentially, I paid for one room and got a downgraded version because the hotel had knowingly put me in a room affected by construction.Which brings me to the obvious question: if the hotel already knew construction was happening on the floor above, why allocate those rooms to guests in the first place? And why continue selling and advertising them on booking portals without clearly warning customers?Perhaps the construction work was considered an unexpected "value-added service."If a hotel knows a room is going to be subjected to hours of drilling and hammering, the least it can do is inform the guest before taking their money. And if the guest has to be moved because of that disruption, moving them to a smaller room without any compensation hardly seems like customer service.The staff did try to help, and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, the damage was already done.Decent hotel, poor planning, zero transparency, and a stay that felt more like a construction-site trial run than a relaxing two-night getaway.Would I stay here again? Only if I suddenly develop a passion for construction noise.
