Service was very relaxed. No water, no TV remotes, no towels provided initially. Had to request everything. The bathroom showed hard water marks everywhere. The area is purely commercial with nothing around except eateries. It feels like an OYO but with much higher rates.

This was among the worst hotel stays I've experienced. Nothing was functioning properly—no water supply, the staff were unfriendly when dealing with guests, the TV remotes didn't work, and the cost was 4500/- for a room for three people, which is overpriced for what was offered. Room service was very slow; if you requested water or anything else, it would take about an hour to arrive. I also paid extra for additional services that were disappointing. I strongly advise against staying at First Inn Hotel Chennai.

I occasionally saw cockroaches. The reception staff act like they are inferior. The location is good, but the basic amenities are lacking. You have to argue to get basic services, and you only see results after you check out. The staff are very lazy. The price is too high, charging 3k + GST, but the value is more like under 2k. Consider carefully before booking a room.

I arrived at the hotel and checked in. I had received an email from MakeMyTrip listing the amenities I would have, including a bathtub, hair dryer, stewing kit, and heating pad. However, none of these were present. I went to the reception and informed them, and they said they had already told MakeMyTrip they don't provide those amenities. The AC in my room was not working, and there were no tissues. The bed sheets and blankets were stained and dirty. A lizard appeared in the evening; the housekeeping staff tried to remove it but said it would leave on its own. I insisted they remove it as I was uncomfortable. I asked twice for the AC to be checked, but it remained broken. On the second day, I reported the AC still wasn't working and requested a room change. The water in the bucket was yellow, and they said the tank was empty and the motor was just turned on, so it would clear soon. In the new room, the first flush released maroonish dirty water; again, they said the tank was empty and the motor was running. The staff were friendly, but the amenities and cleanliness were very poor. The sheets and blankets in the second room were also filthy, so I had to cover the bed with my own clothes to sleep. I stayed four days, but there was no room cleaning service, not even emptying the dustbin. Overall, it was a terrible and disappointing experience.
