The Westin Chennai Velachery

Had a very comfortable stay during my Chennai. Appreciate: 1. Complementary airport & office transport - BIG reason to consider repeating, 2. Attentive to request: asked for Liquid soap & got it quickly, asked for a weighing machine, got it too!, 3. Very good food both in in-room dining and Seasonal taste. They’ve calorie count in the menu which is helpful + all halal, 4. WhatsApp comms: simple & yet effective thing that many hotels miss. Otherwise room, bed, bathroom etc are good as per as Westin standards.

The reception staff should improve on hospitality. All the effort put through by all the departments like housekeeping, dining, travel assistance during your stay ensuring it is smooth goes invain with no common sense attitude by the reception.Westin Velachery, you need to review your front office staff hospitality.This was not the case earlier. I always had good experience. This time I dont think. Reconsider while hiring front office staff.

What an exceptional hotel this is! Spacious rooms, 3 restaurants with lots of variety and service out of this world. Special thanks to: - the two ladies who greeted me for breakfast each morning with warm smiles, to the spa team, restaurant teams (Sambhu), reception team (Injemamul) and travel desk team (Raja). You are all amazing, you should be proud of the service you provide.If you’re looking for comfort, first class service and a worry free trip then this place comes with my highest recommendation.Happy Pongal ’’

Recently went for a stay on behalf of my company. I had given my clothes for laundry. There was a small hole in my shirt which has been there for a couple of months. The laundry Team saw the hole and fixed it. I have been to other hotels in between, but none of them did that, but the laundry team at Westin saw that it needs to be fixed and they fixed it. Really appreciate it. These are the small things that makes a customer feel happy and appreciated. I wanted to call and thank the laundry staff. Nobody picked up the call, but thank you to all the laundry staff for looking at the Tiny details.

It was my first time in Chennai and don’t know what to expect. Arrived at The Westin Chennai Velachery and was greeted by Mallika and team. From that moment until I left the hotel was a spectacular experience. I had a smooth and seemless check-in.I’d like to call out those dedicated people who made my stay exceptionally great:Starting off with Ms Mallika from Guest Relations who ensured my stay would be an awesome experience. Thank you for taking good care of me throughout my stay.Next was Mr Vennis who assisted me to my room and helped me when I was about to leave the hotel.Ms Sherya who helped me on my room needs and made sure I had a comfortable stayMs Riva from Seasonal Tastes who made sure I was well taken cared of be it breakfast, lunch or during dinner time.Ms Susmita who helped to secure my take home sweets were prepared and ready on time for my departure.The team who cleaned up my room everyday and made sure it was nice and tidy.Thank you, Team The Westin Chennai Velachery for making my first trip to Chennai a very pleasant and memorable experience!I truly recommend The Westin Chennai Velachery to anyone visiting the city so you would experience world-class hospitality!Hope to see you soon!
