Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Chennai

Had a wonderful stay at Ramada Plaza! The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and the overall service was excellent. The staff were very welcoming, polite, and always ready to help.A special mention to Ganga, Nazia, and Moupriya, along with the waitresses and other hotel staff, for their warm hospitality and excellent service. Their friendly attitude truly made my stay more enjoyable.Thank you to the entire team for making my experience so pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hote

I had a wonderful dining experience at the buffet restaurant at Hotel Ramada. The food offered a good variety and was delicious, with something to suit every taste. What made our experience especially memorable was the excellent service provided by Linda. She was extremely polite, attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with a warm smile. Her hospitality and professionalism truly enhanced our visit. Thank you, Lynda, for taking such good care of us. We would definitely love to visit again!

The rooms are spacious and the overall atmosphere is excellent.A special appreciation to the Housekeeping team, especially Housekeeping Supervisor Praveen and Ashish, for their dedication, professionalism, and outstanding service. They ensured everything was perfectly maintained and made my stay even more pleasant.Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. I came for buffer square for lunch and it's excellent and service person name "matei and Linda" did good work and excellent services.They seen us from starters to dessert and they services is good and awesome.Very kind and nice of of them.Also good quality and service I will give 5/Ambience 5/5Taste 5/5Variety 5/5

A so-called 5-star hotel that doesn’t even offer a welcome drink or make guests feel genuinely welcomed. The reception staff seemed inexperienced ’ after asking us to sit, we had to approach them ourselves for check-in. If guests are made to wait in the lobby, the check-in process should at least be smooth and efficient.During checkout, the receptionist struggled to generate and share the bill, and it was only provided after repeated follow-ups ’ which is quite disappointing.The rooftop restaurant is average at best, yet the prices are exorbitant. If you’re charging a premium for ambiance and experience, it should actually reflect that level. The setup is very basic ’ simple tables and chairs ’ but the pricing suggests otherwise.We also tried room dining. The veg biryani was decent, but the chicken biryani was disappointing, and the chicken ghee roast lacked flavor. The nachos were okay.For a property claiming to be 5-star, it’s surprising that the rooms have a standard 55-inch TV running on DTH instead of a smart TV, which is quite common even in 3- and 4-star hotels. The shower water pressure was low ’ understandable from a water-saving perspective, but still noticeable.The premium rooms themselves are good, but the lobby area leaves a poor impression.The breakfast buffet was good overall, though the live counter had limited options. The dining space also feels too compact to comfortably accommodate 50’60 guests at once.Lastly, the location is not great ’ there are no nearby eateries, which makes it inconvenient
