Extremely Disappointing and Frightening Experience – Serious Concerns About Guest Safety and PrivacyMy four-year-old daughter and I stayed in a Standard Room at Ginger Chennai for two nights. While the first day of our stay was uneventful, the second day turned into an extremely frightening and distressing experience that completely changed my perception of the hotel.Room and FoodThe room was advertised as having a city view. However, the room I was provided with only a very small glass panel fitted into the base of the wall, which was not even a proper window. Through this small glasspanel, I could barely see the road outside. The room itself was average, with no particularly enjoyable features. I opted for the complementary breakfast and The food average. However, the room and food were not my primary concerns, as I had booked the room mainly to rest with my young daughter during the night. My biggest concern is the serious incident involving the hotel's staff, which left us feeling unsafe and deeply disturbed.The Incident – A Serious Breach of Guest Privacy and SafetyOn the second day, I went out in the morning and returned to the hotel in the evening. As the room access card was also required to operate the lift, I tried using it to reach my floor. Unfortunately, the lift did not respond to my card. Fortunately, another person helped me reach the reception on the first floor.I immediately informed the hotel staff that my access card was not working. They promptly arranged for a technician, who accompanied me to my room with an alternative access card and helped me open the door.The technician informed me that he would take my original access card to resolve the issue and return it within five to ten minutes. I explained to him that I needed the card because I had plans to go out again. He assured me that the issue would be resolved quickly. In the meantime, he inserted a temporary dummy card into the slot provided for the access card and told me that it would work in place of my original card.My daughter and I waited for more than 30 minutes, but the technician did not return. I eventually contacted the reception again and explained that I was still waiting for my original access card to be returned.After some time, the technician came back with an alternative access card and informed me that fixing my original card would take longer, so I could use the alternative card in the meantime. I accepted the card, thanked him and closed the door.Shortly afterwards, my daughter and I went to the bathroom to take a bath. While we were still in the bathroom, I suddenly heard someone knocking on the room door. I had not requested any assistance or called for any hotel staff, so I did not understand why someone was knocking.Initially, I chose not to respond, expecting the person to leave after a couple of knocks. However, the knocking continued persistently. I was uncomfortable opening the door, particularly as I was in the middle of bathing my daughter.I went near the door to see who was outside and was shocked to find that it was the same technician. I did not understand why he was repeatedly knocking on my door when I had not requested his assistance. I also felt that if there was any urgent matter, the appropriate approach would have been to contact me through the room phone or the reception rather than repeatedly knocking on an occupied room's door.Despite my not responding, he continued knocking. My daughter became extremely frightened upon hearing the persistent knocking and rushed towards the door to see what was happening.To my absolute shock, the technician used an alternative access card to open the room door while my daughter and I were still inside.Fortunately, I had engaged the safety chain latch on the door, which prevented him from opening it completely. I immediately shouted and asked him what he wanted and why he was trying to open the door.He explained that another guest had arriv

Peeling walls, damp smell,.probably fungus, shabby interiors. Empty soap and shampoo dispensers. Dirty looking towels. Cockroaches in bathroom. No value for money.

Perfect business hotel”This hotel is a located in a very nice area of chennai. Easily accessible from airport. Best part of staff and the food they serve. Mr Nalu Das takes care of each guests carefully and attends personally which is a very warm gesture. Other staffs like Elliza, Sunita Biang, Elban Chef Ajay Chef Lucas, visnu Tanisha and others are also very courteous and warm. They all will treat you like a family member. A big thanks to the team and the management for such a wonderful and attentive service.
