Terrible experience. I had booked this property a MONTH in advance through Agoda for one night. Our family member had informed them of our late arrival and even I called them to confirm the same on the day of arrival. Even in that case, the room was not ready for 3 people. We had booked a Standard room looking at the decent ratings. However, due to overbooking from their side,or whatever the reason was, in the name of an "upgrade", (saying how it costs more but "they" would accomodate) we were given a dirty, old "suite" like room. The room smelled bad and it also had a Lizard on the cieling. At 12:30 am in the night, the poor staff member had to chase it out and also cleaned a lot of dust with it. Thanks to this staff member's prompt service (who couldnt speak), We could at least sleep for a few hours in the room. Bathroom fittings of that room were BROKEN and it also smelled like drainage. For a room of 3 people, NOTHING was prepared. We had to call for everything and wait for everything to come, for at least 30 minutes late in the night.Overall, extremely disappointed, especially since overall hotel ratings everywhere are decent. Linen quality, staff service and other basic amenities are acceptable, however we have never experienced such a bad room upgrade ever before. Be careful and call them thousand times to confirm whether they have a room, and if it's ready. Can't recommend this hotel confidently unless they stop scamming customers in the name of "upgrades".
