Worst Experience — Extremely Poor Customer ServiceThe ambience and overall surroundings of the property are actually quite good, which makes my experience with the staff even more disappointing.When I entered the room, my partner and I sat on the bed while she went to the bathroom. While waiting, I checked one of the drawers and found a used pan masala packet containing some suspicious/unknown material. I immediately went to reception and informed the person there. I did not make a big issue out of it—I simply requested a different room because I was uncomfortable staying in that room.The manager initially hesitated but eventually gave me another room key. However, instead of simply handling the situation professionally, he repeatedly questioned me about whether anyone had sat in the first room. When I told him that we had already sat on the bed, he started saying things like, “Why did you sit there? If you found an issue, you should not have sat there.” This was completely unnecessary and made an already uncomfortable situation worse.Things became even worse shortly afterward. Because my partner had a stomach-related emergency, she had to use the bathroom in the new room while I was briefly away. When I returned, she was still in the bathroom, and within a few minutes the manager came upstairs and started shouting at us, questioning why we had used the bathroom and saying that we should not use both rooms.I explained that she was with me and had an emergency, but instead of showing even basic understanding or customer service, he continued shouting at me. His attitude was extremely rude, aggressive and completely unprofessional. He even told me that I could complain to anyone I wanted, saying that he was the manager and that the owner/MD would not tell him anything. He basically made it clear that I could complain wherever I wanted and that this was how their service would be.I had booked the hotel for two days, August 15th and 16th, and paid the full amount. I checked in around 4:30 AM on August 15th and, despite the booking being non-refundable, I decided to leave and book another hotel because I simply did not want to stay there after this experience. I ended up staying only from approximately 4:30 AM to 11:30 AM on August 15th, while still paying for the full two-day booking.To be clear, I understand that finding a pan masala packet or some unwanted material in a drawer can be a housekeeping issue. I was not looking to create a problem over that. I simply wanted the room changed, which is a reasonable request from a paying guest. What was completely unacceptable was the way the manager treated us afterward.Good ambience, but extremely poor customer service and an unacceptable attitude from management. A guest should never be shouted at or made to feel unwelcome for raising a legitimate concern. I would not stay here again, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property.
