I had originally stayed here when it was raintree annasalai. It's lovely to see how it has changed for the better under the Pullman group. The lobby are, rooms and gym etc have been well designed and furnished. It was a pleasure to be welcomed by the smiley and friendly Trisha from the front desk.Downsides : the room toilet is much smaller and the breakfast staff not as friendly- Nitesh from the breakfast team was a bit abrasive and not engaging ( at least for me ). In terms of service, pullman needs to learn from four point sheraton, Chennai
Frequent visitor at the Raintree Anna Salai for many years ( before it became Pullman) and we used to enjoy our stay so much . Staffs were not as friendly, warm and welcoming as they used to be . Brekfast did not keep with Raintree , it used to be commendable .Water bottles provided are not easy to open . In room dining menu limited . Wifi service not very easily accessible. Some staffs especially at breakfast looked very stiff and had little to no smiles . We just retuned from Marriot at tirupathi and the difference overall was very palpable . Good points : cleanliness maintained, gym is fairly good and rooms were comfortable. However i won’t be returning at my next trip to chennai .
The breakfast needs more verity like Utta appam, etc
