Hyatt Regency Chennai

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency Chennai. A highlight was having a dedicated front office staff member, Ms. Sariga, who was incredibly helpful and made my experience even better. My room, which faced the pool, was peaceful and overlooked beautiful greenery. Although the room and bathroom showed some signs of age, they were spacious, impeccably clean, had ample storage, and featured a very comfortable bed and mattress. The breakfast offered a good variety, mainly vegetarian, and I valued the staff's thoughtful attention in regularly checking on guests and taking personalized orders. The hotel also kindly allowed a late check-out for a small fee, which made my departure more convenient.

My stay at Hyatt Regency was very comfortable. Everything went smoothly, and the staff ensured all my needs were well looked after.

Mr. Joy, the security officer, assisted me in retrieving my laptop bag and belongings that I had left in the parking area. Excellent service!

Our three-day visit to Hyatt Regency Chennai on Anna Salai was absolutely delightful. The beautiful property, spacious rooms, and outstanding hospitality made our stay very comfortable and memorable. We stayed in room 210, booked under Dr. Neha, which was very spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room had great lighting, a lovely view, and a calm ambiance. Cleanliness and hygiene were top-notch, and the room service was impressive. What truly made our stay exceptional were the people. Special thanks to Daniel from Concierge, who was very polite and helpful from the moment we arrived. He assisted with our luggage and greeted us warmly. His humble and approachable manner left a great first impression. We also appreciate Saraswati, who thoughtfully took care of our overall experience. She was warm, welcoming, very helpful, and constantly checked on us during our stay. A big thank you to the Spice Restaurant team on the ground floor, who went above and beyond for us. Ayushman, Samrat, Debdip, Suraj, Jahangir Khan, Suyamil, Payal, Karthik, and Suvendu were fantastic. Their service was more than just serving food—they were very observant and attentive to our needs at every meal. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we asked, whether explaining dishes, helping with menu choices, bringing items, checking our comfort, or ensuring we enjoyed our meals. They were always there at the perfect moment. Their attention to detail was impressive—they were attentive without rushing or overwhelming us, and every interaction was warm and courteous. They remembered our preferences, explained things well, and consistently ensured we had everything we needed. Over the three days, we had great conversations with the team at Spice, making the dining experience feel personal and welcoming beyond a typical hotel restaurant. Payal deserves special mention for her warmth and kindness. We really enjoyed talking with her, and her friendly nature made our meals more enjoyable. We also thank Anand Raj, the Spice manager, for leading such a wonderful team. The coordination, professionalism, and genuine care from the staff were remarkable. While the rooms and hotel were excellent, it was the people and their sincere hospitality that truly made our stay memorable. When we return to Chennai, Hyatt Regency Anna Salai will definitely be among our top choices. We leave with wonderful memories and great respect for the entire team.
