I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be decent, but I honestly don’t think it deserves a five-star rating.The room was okay, but the bathroom walls had visible stains. When I mentioned it to the manager, the response was simply that it’s an old property. While I understand that it’s an older building, that shouldn’t be an excuse for poor maintenance in a hotel claiming to be five stars.Another issue was the room layout. The TV was not positioned opposite the bed, making it uncomfortable to watch. When I asked if another room with a better layout was available, I was told that all the rooms are designed the same way. The toilet seat was also very low, which can be inconvenient, especially for elderly guests.The staff were generally polite, but the service lacked the professionalism expected from a five-star hotel. During the complimentary breakfast, I ordered an item that never arrived. When I followed up with the staff, instead of checking the order or arranging for it to be served, the response was simply, “Do you wish to cancel?” That response was disappointing and gave the impression that guest satisfaction was not a priority.Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a stay, but it does not offer the standards, attention to detail, or service expected of a five-star property. There are many other hotels offering a much better five-star experience at a lower price with far more professional service.
Rooms are not very clean n hygienic . Service not up to the mark. Any request that you make the answer is NO.Will not suggest to anyone.And it doesn't end here.Room cleaning completed as per the staff, no coffee mugs changed. Water Glasses removed from the room. Toilet roll holder was empty no toilet roll placed. On calling the reception someone came in 15 mins with toilet rolls gave it in my hand and left.....after 10 more mins someone came with 2 water glasses.The TV remote did not work it took 30 mins and 3 different people to understand that a Sony remote will not work on a Samsung TV!! and finally after an hour one gentleman came with a remote told us to put on charge as it was discharged and then it will work!!! The remote didn't work n we operated the TV by downloading the samsung remote app on our phone.....Yes....this is Mariott people.The best part this morning, on the check out day a manager( dont remember her name) came to understand why I gave a 1 star rating and asked "would you like to stay longer"?...... seriously!!!And when we were checking out she came with a small box of chocolate towards my partner completely ignoring my existence ( it is me who had put the feedback) n started so d small conversation smiling as if nothing happened.Hats off to Mariott and their impeccable staff!!
The hotel stay has made my girls 1st trip to India fabulous. The ambiance, the room everything was clean. The food was good. Will come again. No doubt. Thank you spuvanes
