Hotel Santhosh Inn

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at.They charged ’2,500 for a room meant for three people, but the room felt like a giant dustbin. The smell was unbearable - it was like sewage throughout the room and, in fact, throughout the entire hotel.Before arriving, I specifically told them that I was travelling with my physically challenged mother and my 2-year-old child, and requested a clean, hygienic room. Despite that, they gave us a room that was dirty, smelly, and completely unacceptable for a family.To make things worse, there was no hot water. I called the reception multiple times, but no one responded. The TV wasn’t working either.The most disappointing part was the service. I was struggling to carry four suitcases and a trolley all by myself, while the room boy just sat there watching reels on his phone without offering any help.This hotel isn’t worth ’2,500- honestly, it’s not even worth ’500. I would never recommend this place to families. There were ants in the room as well, and the overall cleanliness was terrible.If you’re travelling with your family, especially with children or elderly parents, please avoid this hotel.

We stayed in Santhosh inn near Velankanni. It's 10 min travel from main shrine. Rooms were spacious enough. We occupied triple bed room and it's fit for 4 member family. Nearly maintained. Ample parking space.And we have. Coffee shop infront of hotel.

We got a room in ground floor next to reception.Rooms were unclean, red ants over the floor, bedsheets were dirty. Only AC worked well.We asked to clean the floor. Room boy came and swept the red ants.It came again and again.We asked for broomstick to clean by ourselves and they gave us.Mug in tha bathroom was broken one.All rusted taps and strainers.We got no option since we booked at the last minute by calling directly to the hotel.They charged 4000/- for 4 adults and 2 infants which was not at all worthy. And they said no free breakfast too.Provided 3 soaps and one waterbottle for 4 people and no kettle was available, no dental kit provided.If there is no other option you can stay here otherwise not recommended one. And only good things was we had coffee shop outside this hotel and small message opposite to this hotel which helped us for food.

This is nearly 4 kms away from Velankanni church.People travelling without their own vehicle have to spend Rs.200 to reach the hotel by auto.The rooms are dingy and there is no proper lighting.We did our booking through Agoda and asked to wait till 12.00 noon to do the checkin. We were charged nearly Rs.3000 for a non AC room. When we asked for early checkin, they did not heed to the request.Later, the receptionist said, we can do an early checkin if we can pay another five hu ndred rupees( we paid Rs.500 and was able to do an early checkin. God knows, if it goes to the hotel or the receptionist enjoys the benefit.There are other good hotels near the church, it's advisable to choose one of them, instead of choosing this hotel.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. The facilities were in terrible condition and clearly not maintained. The bedsheets and pillows were visibly dirty, with stains and even cobwebs, something you would never expect in a place meant for guests.The bathroom was even worse. It was clogged, and because of that, the entire corridor had a foul smell. It was so unhygienic that you wouldn’t even feel comfortable touching anything inside. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches, which made the stay completely unbearable.Overall, it was a horrible experience from start to finish. I strongly advise others to avoid this place, as it fails to meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness and hygiene. DO NOT COME!!!!
