Spacious room, the restaurant was good, the food was tasty, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. My only concern was that the air freshener in the rooms and corridors seemed a bit overpowering and the smell stuck to clothes. Otherwise it was a great stay.

When I booked through Agoda, I expected the reservation staff to respond to emails. I booked from the 15th to the 18th but checked in between 7 am and 10 am depending on immigration clearance. The lady at the front desk asked questions about my husband's Nepal passport visa, which felt very unprofessional! She had no right or authority to do that. Room 207 smelled like sewage! The toilet might look clean but was extremely slippery. The pillows were stained and didn't seem clean. I will definitely choose a different hotel next time I'm in Chennai.
