We recently spent a week at Somerset Greenways Chennai, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Arriving at 2:00 AM could have been exhausting, but the smooth check-in set the tone for a week of top-tier hospitality.What really stood out was the attention to detail. The breakfast spread was excellent and ran until 10:00 AM, which was a lifesaver for late risers. The staff went out of their way to care for the elderly in our group, always checking in on them with genuine warmth.The rooftop pool clean, offers incredible views, and has plenty of loungers. The terrace is equally charming, filled with loungers, chill out beds, fruit trees and sacred Tulsi plants. Downstairs, our 5-year-old was thrilled with the kids' playroom, swings, slide, and the resident fish pond at the entrance.Also, a special shoutout to their pest control and housekeeping freshness—there wasn't a single mosquito in sight across the entire property, and the ambient scent throughout the hotel was lovely!We were offered a 5th-floor corner apartment on request which was quiet, spacious, and fully equipped with a kitchen, washing machine, and a lovely balcony lounge. Room service was always prompt. If you like nightlife, the ground-floor Radio Room is the place to be on weekends, while the Broken Bridge Restaurant was great for watching the football World Cup. Watching the rain from the room balcony and the rooftop was memorable!Minor quirk: Housekeeping consistently forgot our group size and only left two towels instead of four, so we had to remind them daily. Moreover, on two occassions we had to request for room to cleaned again since it was not done well; but the request was responded to promptly. The rooftop religious swimwear policy was also a bit confusing at first. ASR website is very slow and unresponsive, hence had to book through third party - which means despite the week long stay in an executive apartment, we were not eligible for any ASR points!That said, these were minor details in an otherwise perfect week. Highly recommended for families, couples, and business travelers alike!

I’ve stayed at plenty of star properties but never have i ever been denied food 5 mins before breakfast closes. Not very hospitable. It’s not a nice feeling.
