I had a pleasant stay at Lala Rukh Boat House, Srinagar. The boat house was good, clean, and well-maintained. Hygiene was properly taken care of throughout our stay. The caretaker was very helpful, polite, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The owner was also kind and cooperative in nature, which made the stay comfortable.The driver allotted by the hotel, Adil Bhai, was excellent. He was very polite, well-behaved, and drove safely on every ride, which made our local travel smooth and stress-free.The only downside was the breakfast. I stayed for 4 days, and the same breakfast was served every day. Although the taste was good, some variety would have made the experience even better.Overall, my experience at this boat house was good, and I enjoyed my stay. I would recommend it to others visiting Srinagar.

Please do not choose this stay. They are scammers, there’s no proper heaters and I’ve faced a lot of problems with them. No body answers to call in emergency, the heater they provider wasn’t working. The fuel in it lasted for only 2 hours and I was awake the whole night, then nobody answers the call. Hospitality is zero, owner doesn’t bother and the maintenance person doesn’t care. He does everything as per his convenience. If you are travelling in any season, it’s not safe and not hygiene to stay there. I suggest you prefer a better hotel in Srinagar. And there are only 1 phase of rooms no upgrade or other choice of rooms. They said we upgraded your room but it was the same they don’t have any other option there. Moreover, the heaters are useless and they don’t work, kerosine in it doesn’t work and it was off in 2 hours. Please don’t trust their reviews and replies to the reviews. It’s all fake!

Peaceful boathouse on a peaceful Dal Lake. The owner and staff here are really friendly. But I give this place 2 stars because of his cousin Ali. If it wasn't for Ali I would have given it 5 stars. FYI Ali has a shop in Srinagar called Bike Rentals | Backpackers Tour and Travels. Never use that rental shop.

The boathouse on Dal Lake is peaceful, and the owner and staff are friendly. However, I rate it 2 stars because of Ali, the owner's cousin. If it weren't for him, I would have given it 5 stars. Just a heads up, Ali runs a rental shop in Srinagar that I wouldn't recommend.
