We truly appreciated our time here. The hotel offers a serene, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing environment, with the river right beside it being a major benefit. Having the option to stroll down to the river, sit, and unwind creates a unique and special vibe. The overall ambiance is very soothing and enjoyable. The staff were warm, attentive, and sincerely helpful during our visit, making us feel very welcomed and always ready to help. The spa is another highlight, with affordable treatments and the convenience of returning directly to your room afterward to relax, shower, and rest, which was a significant advantage for us. Breakfast was probably the least impressive aspect, but it’s easy to skip and find food elsewhere. The property does show some signs of aging in certain areas; some rooms, bathrobes, and bathrooms could benefit from updates and better upkeep, so it’s not perfect technically. Still, the atmosphere, location by the river, staff, and spa make it a very enjoyable place to stay, and we would gladly return.

Wonderful Panchakarma Experience with One Minor DrawbackMy wife and I recently stayed at Maharishi Ayurveda in Rishikesh for an 18-day Panchakarma treatment. Overall, it was a deeply rejuvenating experience, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking traditional healing. The Positives: Impeccable Cleanliness: The entire property is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and hygienic. Excellent Staff: The team is incredibly nice, polite, and always helpful with any request.Professional Therapists: The massage therapists and doctors are highly skilled professionals who truly know their craft.The Only downside- the neighboring hotel can get quite loud at night. Despite the noise issue from the neighbors, the quality of care and treatment we received was outstanding. We left feeling refreshed and healthy.
