Clean and cute and well appointed boutique hotel right in the middle of the walkable part of Rishikesh. It's easy to walk to tons of yoga places (including one upstairs!). They have a great restaurant downstairs with breakfast and dinner available. Lots of cafes in walking distance. And the river is easy to get to. It's very safe for foreigners and solo women travelers. highly recommend.

2/5 – Good Food, But Overall a Disappointing ExperienceOur recent stay at Terrakotta, Tapovan, Rishikesh was a mixed experience.To start with, the hotel never called to confirm our booking. We had to call them ourselves to get the confirmation. This wasn't a great first impression.The hotel's location is a major drawback. It is situated in an extremely narrow lane (around 6 feet wide), making it difficult to access, especially if you're travelling by car or carrying luggage.The check-in process was unnecessarily slow. We had to wait for a long time because the entire staff was busy attending to a single guest. Adding to the disappointment was the manager's arrogant and unprofessional attitude.Another issue was the unfair pricing. A water bottle with an MRP of 20 was billed at 50, and GST was charged on top of that, making the total 80. Charging above the printed MRP is unacceptable.The room also lacked privacy. The window opened directly towards the window of the neighbouring building, so there was no view and almost no privacy.The only positives were that the hotel was clean and the food was excellent. The kitchen staff deserves appreciation for serving delicious meals.Overall, despite the cleanliness and good food, the poor management, inconvenient location, lack of privacy, and pricing practices made this stay disappointing. I would not recommend it unless these issues are addressed.

Service was very bad. Even the manager was rude. Food quality was poor. Room service was unsatisfactory. The behavior seemed unprofessional. Waste of money.
