Manu Maharani Regency

I was misled by the name Manu Maharani, which used to be one of the top hotels in Nainital. Considering their rates, the experience is not worth it at all. Pros: the rooms offer a valley view. Cons: it feels more like a decent dormitory than a 3-star hotel. The place has an old, neglected atmosphere. The rooms have outdated furniture and cleanliness is questionable. The path to the rooms is narrow and gloomy. The biggest issue is the steep stairs leading to the hotel, which are tough for anyone, especially elderly guests. The food is just average. Overall, it might be acceptable if no other rooms are available in Nainital, but as mentioned, the price is too high for what feels like a 2-star experience.

I had a great experience staying here. The lake view from the room was the highlight of the room. All other necessary facilities like geyser, wifi, kettle, telecom, tv with cable and room services are available. All though the timings of the room service can be stretched a little more in my opinion. They are taking last order for food till 9.30 pm which i think should be extended to 10.30 at least. Apart from this, rest everything was very good. They have a kids area as well.

My stay here was wonderful. The room's lake view was the best feature. Essential amenities such as a geyser, wifi, kettle, telecom, cable TV, and room service were all provided. However, I feel the room service hours could be longer; currently, they take the last food order by 9:30 pm, which I believe should be extended to at least 10:30 pm. Other than that, everything was excellent. They also have a play area for children.

The stay was enjoyable, with helpful staff who were always willing to listen whenever you had a need.
