The Fisherman Lodge Bhimtal by Leisure Hotels.

My family and I spent three nights at Fisherman’s Lodge, Bhimtal, and had a truly enjoyable experience. The boutique hotel is charming, with impeccably clean rooms and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable visit. The highlight is definitely the breathtaking lake view visible from the spacious room window and balcony, where you can relax for hours amidst the tranquil environment. The lakeside deck is another great feature, ideal for breakfast, evening tea, or dinner in the lovely Uttarakhand climate. The staff were polite, quick to respond, and always willing to assist. Special thanks to Mr. Rajesh, who was consistently available and genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciate the gentleman who managed breakfast service (unfortunately, we didn’t catch his name), who was equally polite and attentive. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, though we felt the dinner we ordered could be better; the pasta, Manchow soup, and Hot & Sour soup didn’t quite meet expectations. One small recommendation is to upgrade the bathroom slippers to higher-quality rubber ones, as the current slippers become very slippery on wet floors, posing a safety risk, especially for children and elderly guests. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would gladly recommend Fisherman’s Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful lakeside retreat in Bhimtal.
