It's a big and maintained property. We had a good time.
Had a wonderful stay for 2 nights at WelcomHeritage Ashdale. Staff was very hospitable and courteous and made sure all our needs are met. Location is very close to the main mall road. Property is very well maintained and rooms are spacious and clean. Buffet was decent and we had dinner on 1 night which was delicious. There was projector and karaoke set up, badminton , table tennis available which we enjoyed. The only point to note is that the hotel does not have a lift so elderly people or people with special needs may face an issue with higher floors.
Our stay at WelcomHeritage Ashdale, Nainital was thoroughly enjoyable and left a very positive impression. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Despite having just two staff members (Mohan & Ramesh) managing both in-room guest services and the dining area, they handled everything with remarkable efficiency, warmth, and attentiveness. They looked after us extremely well and deserve special appreciation for maintaining such high service standards with limited manpower.Breakfast was excellent, with a good spread, and the team was happy to customize dishes on request (less spicy, less oily, well done, etc.), which added a very personal touch. We also chose to have dinner at the hotel, which was equally impressive.The room itself was comfortable and of a good size. The balcony was a lovely feature, offering ample sunshine and a pleasant space to relax. There was a minor issue with the bathroom plumbing, which is the only area where the experience could be improved. Apart from that, the room was well maintained and comfortable.The hotel’s location is another plus. It is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Mall Road and Bara Bazar, which makes the stay more peaceful, yet it is not too far from these key areas. One can easily walk or take a short drive to reach them. The hotel is located near the Nainital High Court, so the area feels safe, well-connected, and not secluded.A special mention must go to the welcome drink ’ the house specialty *pahadi chai*. It was truly outstanding and set the tone for a memorable stay.Overall, WelcomHeritage Ashdale offers warm hospitality, great food, a convenient yet calm location, and a charming atmosphere. With a little attention to minor maintenance issues, it has the potential to deliver an even more refined guest experience. I would happily recommend it to travelers looking for a relaxed and well-hosted stay in Nainital.
