My stay at Bennies Inn Lodge in Kottayam was unsatisfactory. Although the rooms were roomy, they lacked cleanliness and did not meet basic hygiene standards. The main problem was the receptionist's attitude, which was rude and intimidating rather than friendly and polite. The receptionist should represent the hotel positively, but the service I encountered lacked the professionalism and warmth expected in hospitality. I hope the management addresses these issues by enhancing housekeeping and customer service training.

For the price paid for an AC room without hot water, it was terrible. The usual response was that the solar heater had a problem. I requested the owner's email and WhatsApp number. They said the owner is in the USA. Will the owner stay for the amount charged without good towels, hot water, etc.? Considering how they charge for AC, if there is no hot water, the tariff should be reduced. I hope the management will address these issues.

Bennis in Nagampadam, Kottayam has average room quality and lacks hygiene. The staff were very rude; after I booked online, they treated me like a suspect without verifying their system. I waited half an hour at reception before they assigned a room. The boy showing the room was especially disrespectful and had a strange appearance from head to toe. Because of his behavior, I will never return to this hotel.

The experience was good, but the staff's behavior was poor.
