very comfortable stay in a convenient location in the French quarter, with excellent cleanliness, outstanding staff, and well- kept facilities, considering it's a historic building. The room had reliable hot water, electricity and Wi-Fi, and the sleep quality was great. Breakfast was another highlight, making the overall experience feel well worth the money.
Our first visit was last year, when our baby was 3 months old. We had a lovely time and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Adrian had a lasting impression. We came back again a year later, and stayed in the same room and the stay was as good! The breaskfast is lovely and even their restaurant has good food. Every time we come, at least 2 meals are in their Les Alizes restuarant.
We spent three wonderful nights at Palais de Mahe in Pondicherry with friends, and it truly left us with glowing memories. From the moment we arrived, we were won over by the warm smiles and genuine hospitality of the team, as well as the remarkable calm of the property, which allows you to fully relax and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the French Town.A special mention must go to the restaurant. The chef creates outstanding aubergine-based dishes, prepared with great creativity and finesse, and every plate is a real delight for both the eyes and the palate. Breakfasts are excellent ’ in fact, exceptional ’ thanks to the high quality of the ingredients and the precision of the execution, worthy of a Michelin-level chef. Congratulations to the chef for this standard of cuisine, and to the servers for their efficiency, discretion, and constant attentiveness.We know how challenging it is to satisfy every guest, yet here we truly felt that everything was done to make our stay perfect. Our three days went by far too quickly, and if we have one piece of advice for future visitors, it is to stay longer in order to fully enjoy the charm of the hotel, the serenity of the setting, and the outstanding quality of the food. We will gladly return.
