PLA Rathna Residency

I am truly embarrassed to admit that I have been a customer of Pla Rathna Residency for the past eight years, during which I have stayed for over 400 days. Yesterday, I went there for dinner and ordered two chapathis and egg poriyal. I also requested chutney, but they refused to provide it. Initially, they agreed to serve it, but later the restaurant manager stated that their internal policy prohibited the distribution of chutney. It seems they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction, adhering to their internal policy without making it transparent. Therefore, I recommend that customers consider ordering food through Zomato or Swiggy if they choose to stay at this hotel

The hotel is conveniently located near the junction and central bus stand, making travel and commuting very easy. It also offers quick access to Sangeetha Veg Hotel, which is a great advantage for dining options.Though the property is old, it is well-maintained and the cleanliness is impressive. The reception service is excellent ’ very polite, welcoming, and supportive.The in-house food is good, and the ambience is pleasant. Ample car parking space is available, which adds to the overall convenience.Overall, a comfortable and value-for-money stay.

Extremely disappointed with our stay. We booked a family room, but it was completely uninhabitable due to a heavy cigarette smell. When we brought this to the attention of the female receptionist, her service was shockingly poor. She essentially told us "What shall I do?" and claimed it was our problem since they already had our payment.To make matters worse, the room door lock kept malfunctioning. Every time we wanted to enter, we had to go all the way back down to the lobby to get it fixed. On top of the lack of basic amenities like a morning newspaper, the blatant lack of hospitality and "money-first" attitude makes this a place I would never recommend to families. Avoid this hotel

My stay at PLA Rathna Residency was extremely disappointing and easily one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.Although my booking clearly mentioned twin bed occupancy and I had paid the full amount for a twin room, the hotel claimed that the booking showed only 1 adult and refused to allow two guests to stay. This issue should have been resolved professionally, but instead it was handled very poorly.At the time of checkin, I was overcharged an additional ’1,500, which felt completely forced, unjustified and unfair.The hotel manager, Boopathy, was rude and unprofessional, and the behavior of the staff was equally discourteous. There was no attempt to communicate politely or resolve the issue in a customer-friendly manner.Overall, this stay was a total waste of money. The experience felt like overcharging and mismanagement, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious before booking this property.

I didn't felt good with hotel restaurant food menu. And ordered food as per my choice from outside.Hotel management denied to provide a plate for me. And they are asking minimum order from their menu so that they can provide a plate.I never seen such hospitality and concern towards a coustomer.Am a frequent traveler and never this kind of disrespect in service for single plate.
