Ram Shyam Village Resort

Great experience staying in this hotel. Excellent location. my children love the room and the pool too. The room was clean and the food was also delicious. The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast which was also delicious and a lot of options were there. The staff's services are excellent throughout and they are very well behaved and attentive. We are very happy that we chose ramshyamvillageresort . Thank you so much for your excellent service and rooms, surely going next time. I recommend everyone if you want excellent service and rooms.

Had a good stay at Ram Shyam overall. Easy to find but being near the station there were some undesirable characters around. Once inside we were pleasantly surprised. We booked a Super deluxe family room. Would have been nice for two adults and two smaller kids - did not work for teenagers. Two standard rooms would have worked better - especially the one bathrooms would have helped. Room was good and the food was good. Kids loved the free wifi.

I recently stayed at Ram Shyam Village Resort, and the experience felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city’s chaos. Nestled right beside the Sonajhuri forest, the location is truly magical ’ calm, green, and just a short walk from the vibrant Sonajhuri Haat.The resort has a beautiful village-style setup with cottages and mud houses that give a rural touch but with modern comforts like AC, TV, and hot water. The rooms were clean and cozy ’ not luxurious, but definitely comfortable enough to relax. There were a few mosquitoes in the evening, but they do provide repellents. I have stayed in Room number 20 and Room number 32 which was quite spaciousThe best part? The food!I had their Bengali thali and kochi pathar jhol’ it tasted like home-cooked food, full of flavor. You can tell the kitchen uses fresh ingredients. They even serve tea in kulhads (clay cups), which made the experience more authentic. Just one suggestion ’ if you’re picky about food, stick to Bengali dishes, as the Chinese items were not as good.The staff was very polite and always ready to help. Even though it’s a small team, they manage everything with a lot of care. I loved that they didn’t rush us and allowed us to enjoy the stay at our own pace.Evenings were peaceful, with soft Baul music in the background, and mornings felt fresh with birds chirping and trees all around. If you’re someone who enjoys nature and culture, this place really gives you the Shantiniketan feel. It’s my 2nd stay in there
