Overall Property Is Good, But Service Needs Significant ImprovementI recently stayed at Sarovar Portico Hanumangarh. Overall, the property is good, the location is convenient, the rooms are spacious, and the infrastructure is quite satisfactory.However, unfortunately, my experience with the front desk and overall service staff was very disappointing.The biggest concern was the lack of seriousness and responsiveness from the front desk team. At the time of check-in, I noticed two staff members at the reception while the landline phone was continuously ringing. One of the staff members repeatedly picked up the phone and disconnected it without properly attending to the caller. This gives a very poor impression about how seriously customer calls are being handled.After checking in, I contacted the reception to request a change from the CP plan to the MAP plan. Unfortunately, the response was neither professional nor prompt. Despite several follow-ups over approximately 45 minutes, I did not receive a clear response. Only after I expressed my concern more firmly was I finally informed that the request could not be accommodated.A similar lack of attentiveness was noticed during breakfast as well. The staff did not appear to be listening carefully to the customer’s requirements, which made the overall service experience frustrating.As a corporate customer who frequently travels for work, I expect basic professionalism, responsiveness, and customer support from the hotel team. Unfortunately, I did not feel that my requirements were being given the appropriate importance.My feedback is simple: the property is good, the rooms are good, and the location is good, but the service and staff attitude need substantial improvement. A good property can only provide a good guest experience when the service team is equally attentive and professional.Based on my experience, I would currently not recommend this property to other corporate travellers, unless there is a significant improvement in the front desk and service staff’s approach towards guests.
