We went as a family for Srirangam temple visit and stayed for 3 nights. One of the worst experiences. The rooms are tiny with very less walking space after the bed occupies 99% of the room. I checked multiple rooms. The only room slightly bigger is 301. If you want a decent room they push you towards suite. Absolutely no professionalism. The housekeeping staff is just lazy, stains are hidden under the bedcover, pillow cases. When we questioned them it seemed they were defensive that it's washed by an external vendor so they can't check each and everyone. Whatttt !!!Food - Except the breakfast everything else is absolutely rubbish. We asked for a basic daal khichdi and a side and requested not to put chilli in it. Not only did The cook add chilli, but also defended his action saying it's for garnishing, so it's justified. A simple no would have been good and we could have eaten elsewhere. He then went on to show a lot of temper and refused to serve us. The cook is an egoistic maniac and the restaurant manager is a manipulative person. There is a shady bar with questionable crowd in the basement and a alcohol serving rooftop restaurant that draws a lot of loud crowd. The peace of night stay goes for a toss.
