Booked a studio room. Found lot of stains on the wall, and kettle provided was not working.. lot of stains and stinky smell throughout the room.
The stay was really nice and the location of the resort is very close to the beach,the staffs were kind,totally loved the experience
Honest Review – Sea La Vie Covelong Beach Resort, KovalamStayed here with my family on 20th March 2026 and we were totally disappointed. We paid 4000 per day for a Luxury Studio, but it was a complete waste of money. Zero hygiene and many of the highlighted “key offerings” were fake or misleading.Main issues we faced:1. Total room was not clean and hygienic.2. Full dust inside the room.3. AC was not working properly.4. TV was very small, and the TV stand was old and damaged.5. Small fridge had a very bad smell when opened.6. Coffee/tea maker was full of dust and not clean.7. Balcony/terrace was not clean.8. Shower was not working properly.Restroom was not maintained properly — the window was broken, toiletries were not available, and the area was not clean.9. Swimming pool was not clean, and the surrounding area was also in very bad condition.10. Cooking kitchen was not hygienic. We did not eat the free breakfast because of the poor cleanliness. There were many dogs roaming inside the resort, including near the kitchen and swimming pool area.11. There were cockroaches inside the room.12. Staircase was not maintained and was very dusty.13. Mirror, cupboards, and towels were not clean.14. In the morning, the walking area inside the resort had dog waste in many places.I have attached images for reference. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this resort for families.
