I am very happy to have found this hotel. It is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the bustling city of Jodhpur. I truly appreciate the chance to experience silence after the also charming noise of India.I stayed in one of the Rajasthan-style tents, where the space, cleanliness, and comfort embraced me throughout my stay.A special mention to the hotel team. From the manager, always attentive to any need, to the people who take care of the garden, always kind, and the staff who look after the rooms, the restaurant service, and every part of the hotel.Such warmth and care are truly wonderful when you are so far from home.Thank you. ’’’

The Good: Surpura Bagh is a visually superb property. The expansive open spaces and lush gardens create a truly serene atmosphere. A highlight was the live instrumental music in the mornings’a classy, soulful touch. The rooms are exceptionally large and spacious, and the staff are some of the most soft-spoken and hospitable people I’ve met.The Reality Check: While the staff is "super sweet," there is a clear lack of professional training. They feel junior and unequipped for high-end hospitality.’ Location: It’s very far from the city. I was lucky my business was nearby, but for a tourist, "dipping into the city" is impossible.’ Facilities: For a resort this remote, it is poorly equipped. There is no fitness center, no on-site spa (they use an outside vendor), and no work desk in the room.’ Dining: It is a pure veg resort. Restricting food choices to this extent in a luxury property feels outdated.’ Tech & Privacy: The Wi-Fi was terrible, and the TV didn't work for my entire 2-day stay. More concerning: the shower cubicle has an external window that isn't tinted enough. At night, with the lights on, it’s a complete invasion of privacy.’ Logistics: I requested a packed breakfast the night before for a 7:30 AM departure. Despite confirmation, the morning staff told me the "kitchen doesn't open that early."Verdict: Great bones, but needs a serious upgrade in management, training, and facilities to justify the stay.

The hotel is a distance from the city; it’s a tranquil location, but not the most convenient for access to the city. The staff was courteous and helpful. They gave us a room upgrade without us requesting for one. They were also quite prompt in arranging for portable fireplaces in the garden during dinner. The breakfast options were limited and purely vegetarian, but the quality of food and drinks was commendable. The property is huge; we had nice walks post dinner. There is a cow shed in the property, which was quite interesting.

Best experience ever since we walked down the front desk.Entire staff is super considerate and helpful. They access things before hand and put their best out all across the site.We had dinner at the Indian restaurant and our server Rajan Jha was beyond impressive, gave us excellent service, set our menu and eating pace. Real professional, guest oriented and great at conversation.Must recommended place to stay, relax and eat.

Where do I even begin! I stayed here for four days and genuinely did not want to step out of the property because I was completely immersed in everything it has to offer.Rooms: Some of the most luxurious rooms I have ever stayed in, with beautiful contemporary Jodhpur interiors. The bedding is like butter, it truly feels like sleeping on a cloud. Every detail in the room speaks of pure luxury.Outdoors: Stunning restaurants and expansive lawns with breathtaking views. Every corner of the property has been designed with so much thought that you cannot help but get lost in its charm. I especially loved the central lawn and spent my days soaking in the sun and interacting with the staff.Staff: Exceptionally courteous and genuinely invested in ensuring you are not just having a good time, but a GREAT one. They check in on you every now and then to see if you need anything, and I truly enjoyed chatting with them.Food: The food at both the Italian and Indian restaurants is absolutely to die for. The Indian restaurant serves authentic Rajasthani cuisine and delightful desserts, while the Italian restaurant has one of the best arrabiata pastas I have had. Their mocktails are fantastic too, do try the Kokum special. A special mention to Chef Naresh, who makes every dish with so much passion, and a big shoutout to Akhil, who took such wonderful care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience.Thank you Bipul, Piyush, and Madhusudhan ji for such a lovely weekend at the property. I truly hope to return very soon!
