This is business hotel and not for leisure resort . Kids literally have nothing to do here except badminton on fresh grass . There is no horse riding as wrongly claimed in advertisements. The breakfast is really good . There is NO VALET . You have to park your car on your own in parking with low light visibility . The pool doesn’t work . The spa doesn’t work . The salon doesn’t work . The property is very old and you can see chip off of paint in bathroom
Our stay at Ummed Jodhpur from August 29th to August 30th, 2026, was nothing short of a complete nightmare. Despite confirming our booking and explicitly messaging the property in advance regarding an early 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM check-in along with phone confirmations assuring us that a 9:00 AM check-in would be honored the staff completely ignored our requests. When we finally arrived exhausted at 9:00 AM, they claimed they never checked the messages. To make matters worse, instead of the 3 rooms we originally booked, they haphazardly staggered our arrivals and downgraded us to a single room for a couple, checking us in piece-meal at 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12:30 PM respectively.The frustrations compounded immediately when we found out the primary reason we booked the property the swimming pool was closed for a five-day maintenance period. Management conveniently neglected to inform us beforehand, trapping us in a non-refundable booking where we had zero recourse.When confronted, their attempt at "compensation" was an insulting joke. After a tedious argument, they offered a restricted discount of 30% on a la carte and 15% on the dinner buffet, complete with hidden terms and conditions. The food itself was mediocre at best, and the dining experience hit a dangerous low when I found broken eggshells inside the masala omelette from the live counter.To top off the lack of basic accountability, their parking area is entirely unmonitored and lacks security cameras, resulting in our car getting badly scratched during our stay. Ummed Jodhpur relies entirely on superficial aesthetics to project luxury, while offering zero operational efficiency, poor food safety, and complete apathy toward guest grievances. Avoid booking this property if you value your peace of mind and hard-earned money.
