RAAS Jodhpur

This restaurant is a true gem. The staff are fantastic, always positive and helpful, whether suggesting dishes, attending to our needs, or assisting photo lovers with great shots—they really exceed expectations. A big thanks to Prahlad, the lead staff member who looked after our group of eight.

Their hospitality is outstanding!!!!! The food was very delicious! We were truly impressed by their dining service. The view of the fort from the room is truly special. Choose Raaz if you want a great experience in Jodhpur.

RAAS Jodhpur stands out as one of the most beautiful heritage hotels I've experienced. The spacious and elegantly designed property offers arguably the best views of Mehrangarh Fort. The hotel perfectly combines modern luxury with Jodhpur's rich heritage, creating a truly unforgettable stay. The hospitality impressed me greatly; the staff were warm, professional, and attentive, matching the standards of top luxury hotels. Everyone was polite, welcoming, and genuinely committed to ensuring our comfort. Dining at Baradari was excellent. The Laal Maas was superb, and the team kindly served freshly made bajra roti, adding a nice local touch. Every dish was delicious, though I personally thought the biryani could have been improved. The rooftop is another standout feature, where enjoying cocktails while gazing at the lit-up Mehrangarh Fort is a unique experience. The drinks were skillfully prepared, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the views unforgettable. The only minor disturbance was the call to prayer from a nearby mosque, which is beyond the hotel's control and part of the historic walled city experience. The only real issue was our arrival. Before coming, I asked if the hotel was easily reachable by car since we had luggage, and I was told yes. However, several cab drivers refused the trip upon hearing the destination, causing a 40–50 minute delay. One driver explained that regular cabs can't access the hotel directly due to narrow lanes, dropping us near Ghanta Ghar and advising an autorickshaw for the rest. Finding an auto was challenging, with many drivers quoting high fares before we finally reached the hotel after a bumpy ride through tight streets. Ironically, the hotel operates its own authorized auto-rickshaws inside the old city. This arrival process could be greatly improved. Instead of just saying the hotel is accessible by car, the pre-arrival team should provide clear instructions on the best way to reach the property, especially on busy days like Sundays when Ghanta Ghar is crowded. An even better idea would be for the hotel to have an auto-rickshaw or a small arrival desk at the Ghanta Ghar drop-off point to transfer guests comfortably the last 500 meters, avoiding the hassle of finding transport, negotiating fares, or navigating congested lanes. This would make the first impression as smooth and luxurious as the stay itself. Apart from this, the experience inside the hotel was excellent. The stunning location, superb hospitality, tasty food, and breathtaking views make RAAS Jodhpur a truly special place. Many thanks to the entire RAAS Jodhpur team for a memorable stay. With a smoother arrival experience, this would be nearly a perfect heritage hotel.

If you visit Jodhpur, staying at the Raas is a must! It provides an amazing view of the fort, tasty food, and very kind and helpful staff. Our room was lovely and cozy. The pool area was also pleasant. The hotel can arrange an auto rickshaw for local sightseeing upon request. Overall, the experience was wonderful :)
