The hotel is clean and food is goodThe room design is weird, there is no place to sit and work even in a superior room.The food wait time is minimum half an hour to 40 minsVeg hotel even the eggs are not available, the 4 star hotel cannot be veg.. The rooms are darker and small.. not comfortable at all..For Jain and vegetarian wedding and function the hotel is perfect fitBUSINESS TRAVELLER SHOULD AVOID THIS PLACE, IF YOU THINK YOU CAN WORK IN THE ROOM.
We booked Novotel & Radisson hotel in Jodphur with the intention to compare and experience good international hospitality and also the jodphur architecture. Novotel exceeded our expectations for its service offered and the modern room furnishings+ cleanliness.(Could be due to Novotel being newer) It is smaller and more modernly designed compared to Radisson. If you want modern comfort with international standards, Novotel is the option: Lots of airline crew stayed here which is an evidence for their good service. Rooms are equipped with international brand furnishing and the room is clean like no stained sheets etc. The food in Novotel restaurants offers more international variety and staffs are very helpful to ensure you are okay with their buffet options. We all agree the food in Novotel is fresher and taste really good! I was not well adjusted to the extreme spice level in Jodphur west indian food and the staff offered to make dishes that's non spicy for me! It's really touching for them to offer such service. They have a small boutique souvenir shop beside the hotel side entrance. The prices there are pretty competitive to market price. Good choice if you wanna get last minute gifts. Overall if you have picky palette and wanted a fuss free hotel that offer top notch international hospitality+room cleanliness, Novotel is the good choice.Cons : The room ventilation system is lacking, there is a very humid damp smell the moment we enter the room. I suspect its the way the hotel has been built that no open ventilation is allowed. We requested for a room change once we smelled that and the new room still has the same damp smell even after the staff used air freshener. I suspect within years, the room condition will deteriorate if the management don't do some action... Air freshener is not the solution.The view to the fort in the room is btw not worth the extra charges, any normal room is good.
