Tehri Retreat, Sursingdhar-(New Tehri and Kanatal), By Himalayan Eco Lodges

After tiring travel for a week for Gangotri and Yamunotri in third week of May 26, I stayed here one night with intention to relax and refresh before heading back home.As we checked in, we found a group of 80 students also checked in. They played games that involved yelling and shouting to their maximum potential, and it continued till evening. Then started DJ and bonfire till 9.30 pm right in front of our suite.I wish hotel has informed me about the school picnic; I would have cancelled and booked somewhere else. Those 80 students enjoyed the day, but my day was ruined.Next day morning was absolutely calm, pleasant and beautiful. The panoramic views of the majestic mountain ranges are phenomenal. At distance, part of the dam water lake was visible in the valley.There isn't much large open area in the property, but the narrow pathways are beautifully decorated with variety of plants and many were blooming with flowers. The gardener has done his job well.The room is nice and comfortable.The food was good too.Service is quick and and staff is friendly.

Anil and Amit take exceptional care of the guests and ensure a comfortable stay throughout.A special note for guests: if you are someone who frequently prefers visiting markets or crowded areas, this place may not suit your preference. But if you are looking for peace, serenity, and a close connection with nature, this destination is absolutely worth experiencing.

Really beautiful place! Greenery all around.... You get view of mountains and even see snow capped mountains from the place.Staff is nice and friendly specially Amit, Pramod and mahesh!They took good care of us!We stayed in their villa for 2 days and had a lot of fun
