We stayed at The Golden Tusk for a one-night family trip. Our group included me, my wife, our two children (a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl), along with my brother and his wife. We were looking for a place where both adults and kids could relax and enjoy, and the resort delivered on that front.The experience started with a warm welcome and refreshing welcome drinks at reception. Since we arrived around lunchtime, we headed straight for lunch before completing check-in. The buffet was delicious and offered a good variety without being overwhelming.After settling into our rooms, we spent most of the afternoon at the swimming pool. The resort has two pools, both clean and well-maintained. Our kids absolutely loved the water, and honestly, so did the adults. Pool timings are from 8 AM to 8 PM, which gives plenty of time to enjoy.During hi-tea, we tried archery, which is a paid activity. A special mention to Payal, who guided us through it. She was cheerful, friendly, and very patient while explaining everything.One thing we really enjoyed was simply walking around the property. The greenery throughout the resort is beautiful and well-maintained. There are several picturesque spots, and we ended up clicking lots of family photos. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. A funny and unexpected highlight was a friendly cat that kept visiting our room and quickly became a favourite of our children.We visited the spa area but couldn’t book a session because it closes at 7 PM. However, the staff there were extremely polite and welcoming.The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. Whenever we needed anything, room service responded quickly.The resort has two dining options: one serving buffet meals and another offering à la carte dining. We chose the buffet for all our meals and were happy with the food throughout our stay. Dinner was elaborate and tasty, while breakfast was equally enjoyable. The South Indian dishes at breakfast were particularly good, and we probably ate more than we should have.The next morning, there was a yoga session at 6:30 AM. We skipped it and instead enjoyed a game of badminton. The resort offers plenty of activities for children, including adventure activities such as zip-lining, climbing, rope activities, along with swings and slides. Families with kids will have no shortage of things to do.A special thanks to Mr. Pramod at reception, who patiently explained the different safari zones and helped us understand which zones generally offer better chances of tiger sightings.Before breakfast, we squeezed in one final pool session and then reluctantly packed up. By noon, it was time to check out.One useful tip for future visitors: avoid directly entering “The Golden Tusk” as your destination on Google Maps while you’re still far away. It may suggest a route through a restricted jungle area. It’s better to navigate to Ramnagar first and then set The Golden Tusk as your final destination.If you’re travelling with children, don’t forget to carry swimwear and pool tubes. Other than that, the resort takes care of almost everything.What stood out the most during our stay was the hospitality. From the moment we arrived until checkout, every staff member we interacted with was courteous, helpful, and welcoming. We left feeling that one night was simply not enough and would happily return for a longer stay in the future.

We had a fantastic 2-day stay at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The location is excellent, offering beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions.What made our stay especially memorable was the variety of activities available for children. Our child had a great time participating in the activities, which kept them engaged and entertained throughout the stay.The food was delicious, and the hotel staff thoughtfully accommodated our request for Jain food, which we truly appreciated. The service was prompt, courteous, and attentive.Another highlight was the live music during dinner. The singer was exceptionally talented, and the music created a wonderful atmosphere that enhanced our overall dining experience.The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything was well organized. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
