The rooms are nice but lack sound insulation. There is no breakfast, and no shower gel or shampoo provided in the shower. The beds are comfortable. There were also mosquitoes present.

Unfortunately, my stay at Ambassador Hotel Kottayam was the worst hotel experience I've had in India. The bath towels were in extremely poor condition, and the shower setup was inconvenient, requiring one to shower in front of the wash basin with only a glass partition between the shower and toilet. The coffee cups were unclean, raising serious hygiene and health concerns overall. The breakfast served was of very low standard and quality. The parking lot in the evening was filled with many drunk people, making it unsafe for families. The TV in the rooms was very small, like a computer monitor, and had only a few Malayalam channels. Additionally, the elevator was completely non-functional.
