The Holiday Villa Resorts & Spa

I have mixed feelings about my stay at Hotel Holiday Resort & Cottages. On the positive side, the location and the surrounding views are genuinely wonderful, and the rooms themselves are quite nice and comfortable.However, the hospitality completely ruined the experience. Late at night, I ran out of drinking water in my room and desperately needed medicine for a medical emergency. I tried calling room service multiple times on the landline (ext. 9) as well as the main contact number, but nobody bothered to pick up.When I was forced to go down to the reception myself, the staff's behavior was utterly unprofessional and rude. They rudely told me, "We don't provide service after 11 PM, don't call after that," and flatly refused to even hand over a bottle of water, telling me to go down and get it myself. Crucially, no such rule or restriction about not calling after 11:00 PM was ever communicated to me at the time of check-in.The receptionist had a massive ego and attitude, acting as if they were doing us a favor. While the property, rooms, and views are great, a hotel cannot survive on location alone if the management and staff treat guests with such disrespect during emergencies. Management really needs to fix their hospitality!

Nice property located near the top of Kanyal Road with stunning views of the river and valley. I stayed for 4 days, but on the last morning, the shower heating stopped working. When I mentioned this to the front office during check-out, the staff showed no sympathy and blamed me, saying I should have waited or called to inform them so they could turn on the heating. This left a negative impression on my final day. However, the rest of the staff, the food, and the manager Thakur Ji were all very pleasant and welcoming. Sometimes small issues can spoil the whole experience. Despite this, I still recommend the place for the views and Thakur Ji. Wishing them all the best.

This hotel is advertised as 4 star hotel on Make my trip portal,however it is just a 3 star hotel. Room was good but not like 4 star hotels. Their buffet for breakfast and dinner have very less options and specially for non vegetarians. Even they have only one desert as part of the buffet. Will not recommend to take the buffet for food.Another observation looking at the property seems like a home stay got converted into a hotel. My expectations were based on 4 star but if you are going with 3 star expectations then this could be a good affordable option

The location is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are very disciplined, professional, and well-trained. They interact with guests in a very polite and friendly manner, making the stay even more enjoyable.I would highly recommend everyone visiting Manali to stay here and create wonderful memories with your loved ones.
