The Lake by Maat Hotels

I recently stayed at The Lake by Maat. The stay was overall good and the ambience of the property is really nice and peaceful. The lake view and atmosphere are relaxing, which is a positive point.However, there are a few things that need improvement. The property is about 1.5 km from the main road, and the road leading to the property is in very bad condition. It is almost like an off-road path and completely damaged, which makes it difficult to reach the property.Also, the towels provided were yellow instead of clean white and stain and face towels were not provided. Another issue was the wash basin tap in the bathroom was loose and shaking when opened, which should be fixed for proper maintenance.Overall, the ambience is good, but better road access and improved room maintenance would make the stay much better.

I stayed with my family for 1 day in Alleppey in The lake my Maat resort. Only the location is good but rest everything is worst. Especially the food, if there is any negative rating available for food, the rating should be negative. The food is completely worst and no options available to go out and purchase food. If anyone stays in this resort they need to relay completely on resort food which is worst and no option to purchase outside food. Worst food ... Worst food ... Worst food....

The rooms are acceptable and clean. The location is not very accessible, the road leading up to it is poorly made. You need a car to move around locally. The food provided is tasty homemade simple food. Given the obscure location, on location dining service is a huge plus since there are no other options within walking distance.There isn't much to do around the hotel. There is potential for beautification of the campus overall. The service provided is excellent

We drove down from "The Feel" in Munnar to another of Maat's property in Alleppey. This property is rated as a 3 star and hence I was informed that the property cannot be compared with The Feel. We reached the property with some difficulty as the approach road wasn't good. There wasn't a proper parking facility, nor any good rest room facility for the drivers. Due to this, we had to take a room for the driver, so that he can get some good rest. Overall, the maintenance of the property wasn't up to the mark. If Maat group is projecting itself as a premium hospitality chain, then this property needs a drastic upkeep in maintenance. The rooms were ok. The fan in one room was making a lot of noise. Food was good. Location wise, this property is situated about 20kms from the boarding point for the house boat. We weren't aware of it and had to drive about an hour to board the boat.

First time I was visited the resort.Highly and highly recommended to everyone.Just 2km from main road is under construction- hope it will clear out soon. Otherwise, calm and quite place,..Good place for a holiday stay.Very clean and neat rooms / bathrooms.Very fabulous breakfast and restaurant facility also available.Main attractions are the lakeview, the natural lotus spot increase its beauty. Such a simple and humble service staffs...I preferred to come back again to the same destination, for sure.Special Thank you for Maat hotels for the costworth services,
