The Regalia Resort

One of the best resorts at Ashwem Beach! The service was exceptional, and the breakfast spread was simply superb.The resort is highly recommended for anyone looking to stay just a short walk from the beach. Mandrem Beach is also nearby, making the location even more convenient. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Overall, it offers excellent value for money with outstanding hospitality.

The owner is rude and does not know how to speak properly to guests. I would not recommend visiting this place.

The room and its view were definitely the highlights of our stay. You can see the ocean not only from the balcony but also from the bed. The bathroom is well stocked and the beds are very cozy. However, the room needs some upkeep. One glass shelf was quite fragile and the mini fridge was not functioning. The beach is nearby, just across the main road opposite the property, but the narrow path leading down to the beach is not very clean. So, the property isn't truly beachfront. Some photos showing sunbeds on the beach are misleading. Additionally, the reception and restaurant service were somewhat slow. We were not given any welcome drinks upon arrival, even though it was mentioned on the booking page (we arrived a bit early around 11 AM and had informed them a day before). My husband asked for water at arrival, but the reception was not prepared for that either. We waited for some time, then left for sightseeing without the water, leaving our luggage at reception. We returned around 4 PM for check-in and still were not offered any drinks. They are also very strict about the complimentary breakfast timing. On checkout day, I was about half an hour late and everything was finished. They told me to order a paid a la carte breakfast if I wanted to eat. My husband had breakfast on time and asked for a portion for me, which they refused, which is understandable as per hotel policy. But they didn't consider saving some for late arrivals, even after being informed. Overall, the property is nice, but the management could improve their hospitality.

No consideration for any guest. A late check out of 12:30 Pm instead of 11:00 am after staying for 6 days attracts extra charges.Beds are very uncomfortable.Rooms are infected with cockroach.Worst than budget hotel.The only plus point is food quality is good .( Even though we didn't ordered much for its kitchen)AvoidReplyYou are doing business and late check out issue is no concern for me of course it is disappointing as more money was asked for 2 hour stay.But saying your front office is not aware of issues raised by me is bit surprising.It seems either you are not in sync with your staff or whatever.Did you mentioned anywhere while booking that your rooms will be covered with big polythene sheets for what ever reason. Still I cannot see that mentioned on your site or informed to me earlier while doing booking . Their is no view of pool or any outside world except for little opening during monsoon. Does not same come under unethical business practices. ( Not disclosing full details)Regarding cockroach ’? that is what I saw when I entered the room and reported the same.
