I stayed at this hotel in Bhubaneswar from September 27 to 30, booked through Agoda based on its excellent reviews. My experience was very disappointing.The night receptionist was polite and well-behaved, but every other staff member was rude and unprofessional.On the first morning I fell seriously ill with food poisoning and had to be admitted to a hospital. When I asked the receptionist for a bottle of water, he said it would come in two minutes, but he kept ignoring me while using his phone. I had to ask repeatedly over an hour, and the water arrived only after I emailed the management. Later, I asked a staff member to buy medicine urgently. He promised it in 10 minutes, and I had to remind him after an hour. It arrived after another 30 minutes.My Agoda booking included breakfast, but none was served.Because of my illness, I extended my stay by one day. We checked out around 1:30 PM and were charged an extra 300 rupees without a receipt. At the counter, a staff member also took my phone and pressured me to leave a review. I suspect this is how the hotel gets its high ratings.I cannot recommend this hotel.
