Lemon Tree, please stop managing your dining area like an inexperienced startup cafe. For a well-known hotel brand, the lack of basic hospitality and professional behavior here is shocking. Here are some major issues: Poor Menu Hygiene: Don’t make guests scan QR codes just to order food. Dining shouldn’t mean staring at a phone. When we asked for a physical menu, staff gave us crumpled, food-stained papers. Giving dirty printouts to paying customers is unhygienic and disgusting. Unnecessary Data Collection: Forcing walk-in diners to provide full names and phone numbers to get a table is unacceptable. Don’t collect personal info under the pretense of "registration" if you don’t actually need it. Unprofessional Behavior: The chef was wandering around, bothering diners with strange, overly familiar chit-chat. Diners aren’t your friends; chefs should maintain professional boundaries as representatives of the hotel. Dishonest Billing (Service Charge): Sneaking an illegal service charge onto the bill and hoping customers don’t notice is unfair. Saying it’s "optional on request" only after being confronted is a weak excuse. If you add fees, be upfront instead of trying to trick guests. Guests expect standards, honesty, and respect at Lemon Tree. Instead, we got sloppy service, invasive policies, and sneaky charges. Please respect your customers and train your staff to uphold the brand’s reputation.

Experience was unlike a 5-star. Staff need training and lobby needs a bit of sprucing up. Scope also in room service.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel with excellent hospitality. Apart from the food and location, it was a pleasant experience overall. Rakesh from the staff was very helpful.
