I am extremely disappointed with my recent hotel booking through Agoda.The hotel that I had actually booked was not provided to me. Instead, I was given a room at a different OYO property. The room was not properly cleaned, and the bedsheet and blanket appeared to be unwashed. The bathroom was also in an unsatisfactory condition.There were several other basic deficiencies. No water bottle, bathroom kit, or even hand wash was provided. Most importantly, the property provided to me was completely different from the hotel I had originally booked.There was also no proper contact number for the hotel, which caused considerable inconvenience. The mobile number mentioned on Agoda did not resolve the issue. When I called that number, the person provided another number. I made several calls to that number, but nobody answered. The person also attempted to make a video call and asked me to share my screen. I did not share my screen, but this entire experience was highly concerning and caused me considerable stress and inconvenience.Considering the above, I am very disappointed with the service provided through Agoda. I expect Agoda to investigate this matter seriously and provide an appropriate resolution/refund for the inconvenience caused.Based on this experience, I do not intend to book through Agoda again, nor would I recommend Agoda to others.Please treat this as a formal complaint and provide a satisfactory resolution at the earliest.
