Stayed here for one night in two Deluxe Rooms. We checked in around 11–11:30 PM and checked out around 10 AM the next morning, so this review is based on a fairly short stay.Rooms: The rooms are a good size and the extra floor mattress we requested in advance was reasonably comfortable. However, both rooms had a noticeable smell, including a cigarette smell. The staff did try to deodorise the rooms with room freshener, but that unfortunately made the rooms feel a little stuffy rather than solving the issue. The washroom exhaust also did not seem to be working. The pillows were another comfort issue — they were quite high and not particularly soft, which made them uncomfortable for us. Softer, lower-profile pillows would have made a noticeable difference.Parking: This was probably the biggest disappointment. The property advertises covered parking, but despite booking two rooms, we were not provided with even one covered parking spot. We had to park on a ramp within the property, which was at least still inside the premises — so that was the silver lining. When I asked at reception about covered parking, I was told that it was already full and that covered parking is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. This policy was never communicated to us in advance. More importantly, when I pointed out that we had booked two rooms and asked if they could at least arrange one covered spot, the response was quite off-putting. I was told, “We cannot ask other guests to remove their cars so you can park yours.”That was not what I had asked for. I had simply asked whether the hotel could accommodate the covered parking that was advertised. The unnecessarily defensive response came across as discourteous and, more broadly, suggested that there isn’t much flexibility or ownership at the management level.Extra bed: We had communicated the requirement in advance and had also included the additional guest while making the booking. The “extra bed” is actually a floor mattress rather than an actual bed, I had spoken to them ahead of time and they were upfront about it - so no surprise on that. The mattress itself was reasonably comfortable and we had no issue sleeping on it. The blanket provided with it was very thin, so guests who tend to feel cold in AC may want to request an additional/thicker blanket. The hygiene of the blanket also did not inspire much confidence.Breakfast: Breakfast was included in our booking but was quite underwhelming. The spread included watermelon, sambar, idly, set dosa, chutney, saagu, upma, rava kesari, tea and coffee. The chutney, set dosa and saagu were probably the best items. There was no toaster for toast, and the butter did not look or smell like butter. If breakfast is being charged separately, I would honestly recommend reconsidering it and ordering something through Zomato/another delivery service instead.Wi-Fi: I checked the Wi-Fi once and received the error: “Number not whitelisted, check with IT team.” I did not bother raising this with the staff given our very short stay, but it was another example of something fairly basic not working as expected.Overall, the property has some positives — the rooms are spacious, the extra mattress was comfortable enough, and the parking being within the premises was at least better than having to park on the street. However, given that we paid approximately 6,000 for two rooms and were there for only one night, I don’t feel the stay fully justified the price.I would have been more forgiving of some of these issues given the short stay and the fact that we arrived late after a long road trip. What was more disappointing was that several of these are basic things that ideally should not require guests to raise complaints in the first place, and the response regarding parking could have been considerably more courteous and solution-oriented.I can’t fairly comment on the hotel’s other facilities or staff overall because of how short our stay was.
