Family • India • Oct 2026Definitely Not a Premium Hotel – Average Stay with Poor Breakfast and Cleanliness IssuesAlthough the hotel is located around 400 metres from the beach, it certainly does not live up to the name “Premium.” Based on my experience, they should seriously reconsider using that word in the hotel’s name. Given the cockroach problem in the rooms, perhaps “Treebo Cockroach Lalitha” would be a more appropriate name!The staff were fine, but the breakfast was extremely disappointing. I stayed for three days, and the breakfast experience was consistently poor, with very limited options. The available items included eggs, idli, dosa, bread, cheese, jam, and tea. Even these basic options were served in very small quantities. For example, they would put out only two or three eggs, seven or eight slices of bread, or a few idlis at a time. The overall arrangement was inadequate and disappointing for a hotel claiming to be premium.Interestingly, the lunch and dinner were much better than the breakfast. The hotel also serves Bengali food, which is a positive aspect.Cleanliness is another major concern. There were cockroaches in the room, and the bathroom drain was clogged. Despite raising a complaint, the drainage issue was not resolved. These are basic hygiene and maintenance problems that no hotel should ignore.Overall, this is an average, so-so hotel with several shortcomings. The only significant advantage is its proximity to the beach, approximately 400 metres away. Apart from that, the experience was nothing special, and the hotel falls well short of what one would expect from a premium property.Verdict: Consider this hotel only if being close to the beach is your priority. Do not expect premium standards in cleanliness, breakfast, or overall service.
