My stay at Panjim Inn, situated in the charming heritage area of Fontainhas, was delightful. The hotel is housed in a magnificent heritage building, recognized as one of the iconic landmarks along Fontainhas' historic streets. Staying in such a well-known photographic backdrop was a special experience. The interiors are well-preserved, and the rooms offer comfort along with all the essential amenities for a pleasant visit. The food was another standout aspect; breakfast featured a wide range of choices, and the on-site restaurant provided a convenient option for enjoying meals. In summary, I really appreciated my time at Panjim Inn. For those wanting to immerse themselves in the heritage and character of Fontainhas while lodging in a beautiful historic property, this place is an excellent option.

Unpleasant experience

Located in the center of Fontainhas, Panjim Inn feels more like returning to a familiar place than checking into a hotel. Every corner tells a tale, every artwork holds a memory, and every interaction reflects the genuine affection the hosts have for their home and creation. This place has a gentle charm. Mornings arrive with soft light filtering through old Portuguese windows, afternoons pass slowly, and by nightfall, you feel less like a guest and more a part of the home's rhythm. What sets Panjim Inn apart is not only its stunning heritage or carefully chosen decor but the people. Their kindness, warmth, and natural hospitality show that luxury isn't always about extravagance. Sometimes, it's about being recognized, enjoying long conversations, or feeling completely at ease in a city you just discovered. I came to Goa seeking beauty, and I left reminded that beauty is seldom just a location. More often, it’s the people who welcome you and make you feel like family.

The location is nice, but the building owner's attitude is quite rude and disrespectful.
