Indian Railways To Launch A New Tejas Express From Delhi To Dehradun

The Railway Ministry has agreed to launch a new Tejas Express connecting Delhi and Dehradun via Haridwar.

The nod for this route is given by the Railway Ministry on the request of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has confirmed that the work on the new line will begin as soon as the pathway is cleared.

The Tejas Express is a premium train equipped with modern facilities for passengers onboard.


These trains have Executive and non-Executive AC chair car coaches and other interesting features such as onboard infotainment for passengers, modular bio-toilets, attendant calling buttons, automatic doors, CCTVs and more.

 

Till now, there are four Tejas Express trains connecting Mumbai-Goa, Ahmedabad-Mumbai, Lucknow-Delhi and the newly inaugurated one between Indore and Varanasi.
