Latest Update: Goa and Manipur become COVID-19 Free

In a relief amid the coronavirus outbreak, Goa and Manipur become COVID-19 free after all active cases in their region recovered and no fresh cases were found.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh tweeted, “I am glad to share that Manipur is now Corona free. Both patients have fully recovered and have tested negative. There are no fresh cases of the virus in the state. This has been possible because of the cooperation of public & medical staff and strict enforcement of lockdown.”

Similarly, Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane tweeted, “Zero indeed has great value! Immensely happy to announce that all the COVID-19 positive cases in the state are now NEGATIVE. Very grateful to our Doctors & frontline workers who worked tirelessly & risked their lives to save others.”

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant requested everyone to maintain social distancing and the lockdown rules which have been imposed by the Centre till 3rd May to maintain the ‘zero case’ achievement.
