The swanky new Executive Lounge set up at the New Delhi Railway Station has taken sophistication and luxury to a completely new level. Both SSP Catering India Pvt. Ltd. and Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation have collaborated to set up this 5-star lounge for passengers. It’s for the first time in India that SSP Catering India Pvt. Ltd. has built a luxurious lounge like this.
Feel at home
IRCTC’s Executive Lounge has tied-up with hotels like Leela Palace as well as travel booking sites to offer comfort and luxury at an affordable price. You can book your stay online by logging on to the official website of IRCTC.
The lounge can accommodate up to 125 people at a time. Equipped with luggage racks, well-kept restrooms, and Wi-Fi, among many other facilities, the lounge knows how to serve its passenger in the best possible way, that too, 24X7.
Entry to the lounge
You will require a swipe card to access the lounge; the card will be issued to you at the time of check-in. It’s important to note that the card calculates the time spent in the lounge. However, entry for children who are up to 3 ft. tall is absolutely free. Also, make sure you show your ID proof and valid train tickets to avail the services.
- Entry Fee: For Two Hours: Rs. 150; After First Two Hours: Rs. 50 per hour

And just in case your train is delayed by a few hours, you can make use of their entertainment facilities, such as Live TV, 5D movie theatre, and music channels. For those who are travelling on business and need a copy of their important official documents can use the photostat machine available with additional minimum charges. Facilities like scanning and fax are also available (with additional minimal charges).

If you are travelling with your family and one of the members is physically challenged, worry not!. The lounge has wheelchairs to assist the physically challenged and the senior citizens.
