UK eases travel restrictions on India

As the UK government has moved India from its ‘red’ to ‘amber’ list, travellers arriving from India can now quarantine at home, or in the place they are staying for 10 days. They must also take a COVID-19 test on or before Day 2 and on or after Day 8.

Travellers can end their quarantine early under the Test to Release scheme where they can get tested for COVID-19 on Day 5. If the result is negative, they can end their quarantine on or after Day 5.

These changes have come into effect from Sunday.
