The Railways has announced the cancellation and diversion of several special trains on various dates till March 20 due to safety-related maintenance work being undertaken in several railway zones.
The trains, which are operated by the East Central Railways, South Central Railways and the North Eastern Railways, ply on important routes such as Raxaul – Anand Vihar, Muzaffarpur – Dehradun and Secunderabad – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) amongst others.
The national transporter has advised passengers to make a note of these changes and reschedule their travel plans in accordance.

1. Trains cancelled and diverted by the North Eastern Railways
The North Eastern Railways has cancelled 24 trains and diverted 17 others due to non-interlocking work being undertaken on the Muzaffarpur railway station.
The trains have been cancelled on various dates till next week. Check the train details and dates below:

2. Trains cancelled by the South Central Railways
The South Central Railways has cancelled the following six trains:
> Train no. 01141 CSMT – Adilabad Special with journey commencing on 12.03.21 has been cancelled.
> Train no. 01142 Adilabad – CSMT Special will journey commencing on 12.03.21 has been cancelled.
> Train no. 07058 Secunderabad – CSMT Special with journey commencing on 13.02.21 has been cancelled.
> Train no. 07057 CSMT – Secunderabad Special with journey commencing on 14.03.21 has been cancelled.
>Train no. 07617 Nanded – CSMT Special with journey commencing on 13.03.21 has been cancelled.
>Train no. 07618 CSMT – Nanded Special with journey commencing on 14.03.21 has been cancelled.
3. Trains diverted by the East Central Railways
As many as 10 trains will be plying on diverted routes till next week due to non-interlocking work being undertaken at the Kusunda railway station in Jharkhand. Check the train numbers and the new routes here:
