SriLankan Airlines, established in 1979 as Air Lanka, is the flag carrier of Sri Lanka. Following a strategic partnership with Emirates in 1998, the airline rebranded to its current identity. Operating from its main hub at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, SriLankan has evolved into a significant carrier in South Asia.

The airline currently operates a modern fleet of 24 aircraft, comprising Airbus A320, A321neo, and A330-300 models. The wide-body A330s serve long-haul routes while the narrow-body aircraft handle regional operations. SriLankan has consistently maintained high service standards, earning a 4-star rating from Skytrax and winning "World's Most Punctual Airline" in 2019 for the (0-100) aircraft category.

SriLankan offers two primary cabin classes:

Business Class

Features fully-flat beds on A330 aircraft with 78-inch pitch, 15.4-inch personal entertainment screens, gourmet dining with Sri Lankan and international cuisine, priority check-in, and lounge access. Business Class passengers enjoy increased baggage allowance and dedicated cabin crew service.

Economy Class

Offers ergonomically designed seats with 32-inch pitch, personal entertainment systems with over 100 movies and TV shows, USB charging ports, and complimentary meals. Economy Class passengers receive full-service amenities including blankets and pillows on long-haul flights.
